Human Neuronal DA Progenitor Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human Neuronal DA (Dopaminergic) Progenitor Stem Cells are neural progenitor cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) directed toward a midbrain fate. They exhibit a characteristic elongated morphology and can expand clonally in culture. The cells express key dopaminergic lineage and neural progenitor markers including FOXA2, LMX1A, EN1, OTX2, Nestin, and SOX1, confirming their regional identity and commitment to the dopaminergic lineage. Under defined differentiation conditions, they generate neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, demonstrating their multipotent capacity. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Neuronal DA Progenitor Stem Cells provide a reliable in vitro model to study human dopaminergic neurodevelopment, neurotoxicity, and regeneration. They are especially suitable for Parkinson’s disease research, as they can be matured into functional midbrain dopaminergic neurons that recapitulate key disease phenotypes. These cells are ideal for drug discovery platforms, compound screening, and neurodegenerative modeling. Their defined lineage commitment allows precise investigation of dopaminergic signaling and neuroprotection mechanisms.
