Human (Parental) Ovarian Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human (Parental) Ovarian Cancer Stem Cells are a specialized population of tumor-initiating cells derived from primary human ovarian carcinoma tissues. Morphologically, they display a small, round to spindle-shaped appearance. These cells exhibit key characteristics of cancer stem cells (CSCs), including self-renewal and tumorigenicity. They express high levels of stemness and ovarian CSC-associated markers such as CD133, ALDH1, and CD44. These cells demonstrate strong resistance to conventional chemotherapy and possess the capacity to initiate tumors in immunocompromised animal models, recapitulating the histopathological features of the original tumor. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human (Parental) Ovarian Cancer Stem Cells, also known as ovarian tumor-initiating cells, serve as a powerful preclinical model for studying ovarian cancer pathogenesis, drug resistance, and metastasis. This Parental ovarian CSC line exhibits stem-like properties and tumorigenic potential, making them ideal for cancer stem cell (CSC) research and enabling investigations into self-renewal mechanisms, chemoresistance pathways, and niche interactions. These cells are also widely used in drug discovery and screening.
