Mouse Prostate Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Mouse Prostate Stem Cells are a basal epithelial stem population isolated from adult mouse prostate tissue. In vitro, they form compact, adherent colonies with typical epithelial morphology. These murine prostatic stem cells retain a normal diploid karyotype. Functional assays demonstrate their self renewal capacity and ability to generate prostate tubule structures in renal capsule transplantation models, indicating genuine stem cell potential. Their regenerative potential and defined molecular profile make them a valuable tool for studying prostate development, hormonal regulation, and stem cell hierarchy in epithelial tissues. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Mouse Prostate Stem Cells provide a robust in vitro and in vivo model for dissecting prostate epithelial stem cell biology. They are valuable for studying mechanisms of androgen-regulated basal stem cell differentiation, tissue regeneration, and lineage hierarchy, including basal-to-luminal and basal-to-neuroendocrine transitions. Researchers utilize these cells to model early events in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate cancer initiation. These cells support drug screening assays targeting prostate stem cell populations, for example, testing inhibitors of EMT-related pathways or cell surface antigens associated with prostate cancer initiation.
