Description

HighQC™ Neural Stem Cells (IPSC From ALS Fibroblasts) are a neural stem cell model derived from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patient fibroblasts through induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) reprogramming. These cells express canonical neural stem and progenitor markers such as NESTIN, PAX6, and SOX1. During differentiation, they can be directed to generate motor neurons and other central nervous system cell types. These amyotrophic lateral sclerosis neural stem cells enable molecular studies of ALS pathogenesis, including abnormal RNA metabolism and protein homeostasis. Furthermore, it provides a valuable tool for high-throughput drug screening targeting disease-specific cellular phenotypes. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
