Rat Cardiac Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Rat Cardiac Stem Cells are isolated from the myocardium of healthy postnatal rats and represent a resident population of adult stem/progenitor cells capable of contributing to cardiac tissue regeneration. These cells exhibit small, round to spindle-like morphology and express key cardiac progenitor markers. Under lineage-specific conditions, they can differentiate into cardiomyocytes, smooth muscle cells, and endothelial cells. These cardiac stem cells show clonogenicity, self-renewal, and paracrine effects that support myocardial repair. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Rat Cardiac Stem Cells, a rat heart-derived progenitor cell line, are ideal for modeling endogenous heart regeneration, post-injury remodeling, and cardiac lineage specification. They support research in ischemic heart disease, cell-based myocardial therapy, and vascularization strategies. As Rat c-kit positive cardiac stem cells, their differentiation potential also enables use in cardiac tissue engineering, fibrosis modeling, and regenerative drug screening. They also provide a functional platform for studying cardiogenic signaling networks and the paracrine mechanisms underlying stem cell–mediated cardiac repair.
