Rat Pancreatic Stem Cells; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Rat Pancreatic Stem Cells (R-PSC) are isolated from the pancreas of healthy postnatal rats and represent a population of multipotent stem/progenitor cells with regenerative potential. These cells exhibit epithelial-like morphology under adherent culture and demonstrate sustained self-renewal in vitro. Rat pancreatic stem cells express markers such as PDX1, SOX9, and Nestin, indicating their potential to differentiate into both endocrine and exocrine pancreatic lineages. R-PSC serve as a powerful model for exploring pancreatic organogenesis, diabetes-related cell therapy strategies, and pancreatic injury repair, given their origin and functional relevance. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Rat Pancreatic Stem Cells offers a robust platform for investigating pancreatic stem cell biology, β-cell differentiation, and mechanisms of islet regeneration. It is suitable for modeling diabetes mellitus, testing glucose-responsive therapies, and screening regenerative compounds. These cells also support applications in pancreatic injury modeling, islet transplantation research, and studies on exocrine-to-endocrine lineage conversion.
