HS903.SK is a human skin-derived cancer cell line originally established from an in situ skin tumor specimen of a 29-year-old female human donor. HS903.SK cells grow as adherent cultures with typical epithelial/mesenchymal morphology in standard conditions, reflecting human skin tumor cell growth characteristics. The line shares its source with the related tumor line Hs 903.T, indicating paired tissue origin. Its classification as a skin tumor line supports its use in cutaneous cancer research. As a tumor-derived cell line, it represents neoplastic growth properties typical of skin carcinoma models and is suitable for in vitro oncogenesis studies. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HS903.SK cell line serves as an in vitro human skin tumor model for investigating mechanisms of cutaneous carcinogenesis, cell proliferation, and response to therapeutic compounds. Their stable adherent growth property makes them suitable for assays including drug sensitivity screens, gene expression analyses, and signaling pathway studies related to skin cancer biology and tumor progression.
