Bone Marrow is obtained from adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients.
Human Acute Myeloid Leukemia Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells are isolated from adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients in the relapsed/refractory stage. Bone marrow samples are diluted and centrifuged to obtain mononuclear cells, including leukemic blasts, lymphocytes, and monocytes. These primary, non-passaged cells exhibit irregular, blast-like morphology and are non-adherent. Functionally, they reflect advanced disease characteristics, supporting studies in resistance and hematopoietic dysregulation. Common markers include CD33, CD13, CD117, and HLA-DR. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

These cells are valuable for modeling chemoresistance mechanisms, tracking clonal evolution under therapeutic pressure, and analyzing immune interactions in the bone marrow niche. They support high-throughput drug screening, cytokine profiling, and functional genomics in relapsed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) contexts. Suitable for isolating subpopulations like CD34+ for studying stemness and differentiation blockade. They are also used to study therapy targets in refractory AML mononuclear and mononuclear cell changes in resistant leukemia, as well as hematopoietic dysregulation.
