The AKT1 (E40K) BAF3 cell line is an ideal choice for assessing AKT signaling and its inhibitors, supporting tumor research and new drug development.
Human AKT1 (E40K) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected murine Ba/F3 parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. The cell line is constructed by integrating human AKT1 gene carrying the E40K mutation into Ba/F3 cells using optimized lentiviral vectors.
Target
AKT1 E40K is an oncogenic mutation located in the PH domain, which promotes constitutive membrane localization and activation of the kinase independent of upstream signals. This variant is associated with enhanced proliferative signaling and tumor development. AcceGen provides precise AKT1-mutant models to facilitate mechanistic studies and targeted therapy development. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional.
