Description

Human Cord Blood CD4+/CD45RA+ Naïve T Cells are isolated from the umbilical cord blood of healthy human donors following full-term delivery. The source tissue is cord blood, and the isolated cells are T lymphocytes, specifically the naïve CD4+ helper T cell subset, identified by co-expression of CD4 and CD45RA surface markers. These cells are enriched via immunomagnetic separation to achieve a high-purity population of immunologically naïve helper T cells. Morphologically, they are small, round, and non-adherent, and they remain quiescent unless activated under specific culture conditions. Flow cytometry confirms high levels of CD4 and CD45RA, with minimal expression of activation or memory markers. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • Human Cord Blood CD4+/CD45RA+ Naïve T Cells are ideal for fundamental studies of T cell development, antigen priming, and lineage differentiation into effector subsets such as Th1, Th2, Th17, and Treg. They are also used in adoptive T cell therapy research, vaccine development, and in vitro immune modeling where unprimed T cells are critical.
