Human Corneal Endothelial Cells are recommended to be passaged for a maximum of 3-4 generations under AcceGen’s recommended culture conditions.
The complete culture medium (ABM-TM136L) comes as a kit and includes:
500 ml of basal medium
25 ml of FBS
5 ml of Endothelial Cell Growth Supplement
5 ml of penicillin/streptomycin solution
After mixing the components, it is recommended to use the medium within 1-2 months to reduce the risk of contamination. Unmixed, unopened components have a shelf life of 1 year when stored under the specified conditions.
