Bone Marrow is obtained from adult Myelodysplastic Syndrome patients.
Human Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (Newly Diagnosed/Untreated) are isolated from the bone marrow of donors newly diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and naïve to therapy. Non-passaged, these cells are cryopreserved immediately upon primary isolation. They display a mixed suspension morphology comprising dysplastic erythroid, myeloid, and megakaryocytic precursors. This heterogeneous population exhibits MDS-associated cellular profiles, including altered differentiation patterns, apoptosis-related characteristics, and altered immunophenotypic profiles (CD34+ deviations). Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Myelodysplastic Syndrome Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (Newly Diagnosed/Untreated) serve as an in vitro model for investigating MDS-associated cellular and molecular mechanisms. By analyzing their dysplastic hematopoietic progenitor differentiation, genetic aberrations, and bone marrow microenvironmental interactions, researchers can explore molecular pathways associated with ineffective hematopoiesis and immune evasion, supporting discovery research and target identification for MDS-related cellular and molecular mechanisms.
