Description

Human non-Hodgkin lymphoma (DLBCL) Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are derived from the peripheral blood of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). DLBCL is an aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma originating from the germinal center. Morphologically, DLBCL cells can present in a variety of forms, such as centroblastic type and immunoblastic type. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is marked by impaired B – cell receptor (BCR) signaling and the abnormal activation of crucial survival pathways, such as NF-κB, PI3K/Akt/mTOR, and JAK/STAT. These dysregulated pathways fuel unchecked cellular proliferation, impede apoptosis, and facilitate metabolic reprogramming towards aerobic glycolysis, thereby fulfilling the substantial energy requirements of the rapidly proliferating tumor cells.

Application

  • Human non-Hodgkin lymphoma (DLBCL) Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells can be used to study the pathogenesis of diseases. For example, by isolating malignant B cells, it is possible to analyze driving events such as abnormal BCR signaling pathways (such as persistent activation of NF-κB), epigenetic modifications (such as BCL6 super-enhancer mutations), etc. These cells can also be used for biomarker development.
