NPB-CD8+ Cytotoxic T cells are negatively isolated from Mononuclear Cells using an indirect immunomagnetic CD8+ T cell labeling system.
Human Peripheral Blood CD8+ T Cells are isolated from mononuclear cells. After primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved in optimal conditions to maintain viability and function upon thawing. CD8+ T cells, also known as cytotoxic T lymphocytes, play a critical role in adaptive immunity by recognizing and eliminating infected or malignant cells through MHC class I-restricted antigen presentation. They are essential for studying T cell-mediated cytotoxicity, immune checkpoint regulation, antiviral responses, and tumor immunology. In vitro, these Human PB CD8+ T Cells display limited proliferative capacity. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve functionality. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human PB CD8+ T Cells can be used as an in vitro model to study adaptive immune responses, including cytotoxic activity against virus-infected or cancerous cells. These cells help elucidate the mechanisms of T cell activation, differentiation, and effector function. They can also be applied in immunotherapy development, vaccine evaluation, and immune profiling. Investigating CD8+ T cells can also provide insight into autoimmune responses and chronic inflammatory conditions, supporting therapeutic target discovery in infectious diseases and cancer immunology.
