T Cells have a key function in the adaptive immune system.
Human Peripheral Blood CD4+ T Helper Cells (Negative Selection) are isolated from healthy donor peripheral blood. These cells are a subset of lymphocytes critical to adaptive immunity, orchestrating immune responses through cytokine secretion and by assisting B cells, cytotoxic T cells, and macrophages. Morphologically, they are small, round cells with a high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio and typically remain non-adherent in culture. CD4+ T cells express high levels of surface markers such as CD3, CD4, and lack expression of CD8 and CD14. These cells are cryopreserved immediately after isolation to maintain native phenotype and functional responsiveness. These primary cells are non-proliferative in vitro without activation and should not be subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Peripheral Blood CD4+ T Helper Cells are widely used in immunological research to investigate T cell activation, differentiation, and cytokine production. These cells are ideal for modeling immune dysregulation in autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, or for studying viral infections like HIV, where CD4+ cell depletion plays a central role. Additionally, they are employed in T cell cytotoxicity assays to evaluate T cell-mediated immunity and immunotherapeutic responses. They are also suitable for antigen-specific stimulation assays and cytokine profiling in personalized immunology research.
