Human PIK3CA (G1049R) BAF3 Cell Line supports research on activating mutations of PIK3CA and their effects on cancer progression and therapy.
Human PIK3CA (G1049R) BAF3 Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from murine pro-B Ba/F3 cells with stable overexpression of human PIK3CA harboring the G1049R mutation. Lentiviral transduction was employed to generate this model, which is maintained at low passage numbers (<P20). Overexpression is confirmed by qRT-PCR. Target G1049R is a gain-of-function mutation located within the kinase domain of PIK3CA, enhancing catalytic activity and PI3K/AKT signaling. It is identified in multiple tumor types including breast and ovarian cancers. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers' research needs.
