Description

Human T Cells-Negatively Selected (hT-NS) are isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) collected from healthy human donors using density gradient centrifugation followed by negative selection. This method removes non-T cell populations (e.g., B cells, NK cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, leaving a highly enriched population of CD3+ T cells). hT-NS display a small, round morphology and are primarily composed of both CD4+ helper and CD8⁺ cytotoxic subsets. They express surface markers such as CD3, CD4, CD8, and TCRαβ. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

  • Human negatively selected T cells (hT-NS) provide a critical ex vivo model for immunological research while maintaining native receptor expression and an unstimulated functional state. These untouched lymphocytes are suitable for investigating physiological T cell activation thresholds, antigen-specific responses, immune checkpoint interactions, and TCR signaling dynamics. Their unaltered state enables accurate assessment of cytotoxic function and immune activation in primary cell systems. hT-NS also serve as starting material for CAR-T cell engineering, supporting studies of T cell activation, expansion, and viral transduction efficiency.
