Human Thymus Microvascular Endothelial Cells

AcceGen provides high quality Human Thymus Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HThMEC), which are isolated from normal human thymus tissue and cryopreserved at P2, with >0.5 million cells in each vial. HThMEC can be used in assays of cell to cell adhesion, migration, vascular tube formation. Standard biochemical procedures performed with endothelial cell cultures include RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent staining, immunofluorescent flow cytometry, or generating cell derivatives for desired research applications. These cells display typical cobblestone with large dark nuclei appearance under light microscopy and express vWF/Factor VIII, CD31 (PECAM), and Dil-Ac-LDL by uptake. They can further expand for 8 population doublings under the condition suggested by AcceGen.
