Description

Human Cord Blood CD4+ Helper T Cells (hUCB CD4+ helper T lymphocytes) are isolated from the umbilical cord blood of healthy human donors after full-term delivery. The source material is cord blood, and the target cell type is CD4+ T lymphocytes, which are key regulators of adaptive immunity. These cells are purified using immunomagnetic separation, ensuring high purity and viability. Cord blood–derived CD4+ T cells are immunologically naïve (predominantly CD45RA+), making them ideal for studying primary T cell development and activation. Morphologically, they appear small and round in suspension and do not adhere to culture surfaces. Flow cytometry confirms high expression of CD4 and the naïve T cell phenotype. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • Human Cord Blood CD4+ Helper T Cells are ideal for immunological studies involving T cell development, activation, and polarization (e.g., Th1/Th2/Th17). They are widely used in vaccine research, immune tolerance modeling, TCR signaling studies, and the development of T cell–based immunotherapies.
