The IL-7 Reporter Cell Line facilitates the high-throughput screening of IL-7 activity and downstream JAK/STAT signaling in immune research.
Interleukin-7 (IL-7) is an essential cytokine for the development and maintenance of T and B lymphocytes. IL-7 binds to its receptor IL7R and IL2RG heterodimer, activating pathways that regulate lymphocyte survival, glucose uptake, proliferation, and differentiation. The IL-7 receptor subunit alpha (IL7Ra), also known as CD antigen CD127, belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and type 4 cytokine receptor family. IL7Ra/CD127 is expressed on various cell types, including naive T cells and memory T cells. It acts as the receptor for IL-7 and also for thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP).TheIL-7 Reporter Cell Line is a luciferase reporter gene cell line stimulated by IL-7 protein. When IL-7 protein binds to the receptor, it activates signaling pathways, leading to the expression of luciferase, with luciferase readings representing the activation effect of the signaling pathway. This cell line can be used for the in vitro evaluation of receptor-related drug effects.
