Monkey Primary Lymphatic Fibroblasts from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of Cynomolgus Monkey.
Monkey Lymphatic Fibroblasts are primary fibroblasts isolated from lymphatic tissue of the Cynomolgus Monkey. These cells represent lymphatic tissue–derived fibroblasts that typically exhibit spindle-shaped morphology and adherent growth characteristics under standard culture conditions. Monkey lymphatic fibroblasts can generally be expanded in vitro for approximately 3–6 passages when cultured using recommended conditions. Lymphatic fibroblasts play essential roles in maintaining the structural integrity of lymphatic tissues and regulating extracellular matrix (ECM) composition. They participate in stromal support, tissue remodeling, and intercellular communication within the lymphatic microenvironment. Monkey lymphatic fibroblasts typically express fibroblast-associated markers such as Vimentin, which can be detected by immunofluorescence or related molecular assays to confirm fibroblast identity. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Monkey Lymphatic Fibroblasts serve as an in vitro model for studying lymphatic tissue biology and extracellular matrix remodeling. They are widely used in research on lymphedema and fibrotic diseases to investigate mechanisms of ECM dysregulation and fibroblast activation. These cells are also applied in studies of lymphangiogenesis and tumor microenvironment interactions, particularly in understanding how cancer-associated fibroblasts contribute to lymphatic vessel formation and tumor metastasis.
