Non-human primate (Non-human primate) cells are obtained from NIH-supported primate research centers.
Non-human Primate Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells are isolated directly from healthy primate bone marrow and cryopreserved at primary isolation to maintain their native cellular composition and biological activity. This heterogeneous population contains hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells, lymphocytes, monocytes, and stromal elements. They exhibit a mixed morphology with round lymphocytes and larger monocytic cells in suspension. Functionally, they mediate hematopoietic activity, immune responses, and stromal support, serving as a preclinical model for human hematological studies. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Non-human Primate Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells serve as a critical preclinical platform for studying hematopoietic system disorders and immune responses. For instance, analyzing their myeloid/lymphoid cell differentiation, cytokine secretion, and interactions with pathogens or therapeutic agents helps explore molecular mechanisms in diseases like leukemia or HIV, aiding translational research for novel hematological and immunotherapeutic strategies.
