Non-human primate (Non-human primate) cells are obtained from NIH-supported primate research centers.
Non-human Primate Mononuclear Cells are collected from live non-human primates under protocols supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded National Primate Research Centers. AcceGen provides peripheral blood and bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells from cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis), pig-tailed macaques (Macaca nemestrina), and rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta), all of which are neither endangered nor threatened. Following primary isolation and culture, these cells are cryopreserved. Mononuclear cells play a crucial role in studying immune responses, including T cell activation, antibody production, and the functional characterization of various immune cell populations. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Non-human Primate Mononuclear Cells are widely used as in vitro models to study immune mechanisms such as T cell activation, cytokine signaling, and antigen processing. These cells offer a reliable platform for investigating viral infections like HIV and tuberculosis due to their close immunological similarity to humans. They also support preclinical testing of vaccines, immunosuppressants, and therapeutic antibodies in a translational research setting.
