Porcine Coronary Artery Endothelial Cells (PCAEC) are widely applied in cardiovascular and vascular biology research for investigating endothelial function, nitric oxide signaling, atherogenesis, and inflammation-related responses. Their physiological similarity to human endothelial cells makes them suitable for drug screening, toxicity testing, vascular remodeling studies, and the evaluation of blood-contacting biomaterials. Additionally, they are employed in permeability assays and co-culture systems with smooth muscle cells to simulate the coronary microenvironment in vitro.
