  • What are the culture characteristics of this cell line?

    This Tie2 stable line is adherent, like parental HEK-293 cells. No special coating is required under routine culture. For certain experiments (e.g., ELISA or phosphorylation assays), surface coatings such as poly-L-lysine may be used to improve consistency, but pre-testing is recommended.

  • What medium and selection pressure are recommended?

    Culture in DMEM + 10% FBS + 1% P.S + 0.75 µg/mL puromycin. Continuous selection with puromycin is recommended to maintain stable Tie2 expression. During 1–2 passages before functional assays, puromycin can be reduced or removed to avoid potential effects on cell physiology.

    Tie2 surface expression has been confirmed via flow cytometry.
