The overexpression cell line provides an ideal model for studying tumor progression and drug resistance, supporting personalized research projects.
AKR1B1 HCC827 Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human lung adenocarcinoma (HCC827) parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. AKR1B1 HCC827 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human AKR1B1 into HCC827 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The AKR1B1 gene encodes aldose reductase, which functions in the detoxification of aldehydes and contributes to metabolic stress adaptation. Its overexpression is associated with tumor progression, chemoresistance, and diabetic pathologies. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
