The CLDN17 CHOK1 overexpression cell line is specifically designed for studying tight junction integrity and ion transport, suitable for drug testing.
CLDN17 CHOK1 Overexpression Cell Line is engineered from CHOK1 cells through lentiviral integration of human CLDN17 cDNA. The cell line was selected and expanded under antibiotic pressure, and validated by qRT-PCR.
Target
CLDN17 (Claudin-17) is a tight junction protein regulating paracellular ion permeability. It is primarily expressed in the kidney and liver, and has implications in electrolyte imbalance and hepatic diseases. Altered CLDN17 expression may influence epithelial barrier function in tumors. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
