The SCN11A HEK293 overexpression cell line is a genetically engineered model suitable for studying ion channel function and pain signal transduction.
SCN11A HEK293 Overexpression Cell Line is a genetically engineered model derived from selected human embryonic kidney (HEK293) parental cell line based on customers’ requirement. SCN11A HEK293 overexpression cell line is generated by stable integration of exogenous human SCN11A into HEK293 host cells using our optimized transduction of lentiviral vectors. Overexpression clone is validated at gene level by qRT-PCR.
Target
The SCN11A gene encodes the Nav1.9 voltage-gated sodium channel, predominantly expressed in peripheral sensory neurons and associated with pain perception. Mutations and dysregulation of SCN11A are linked to familial episodic pain syndromes, congenital insensitivity to pain, and visceral hypersensitivity. AcceGen offers generation of stable overexpression cell lines targeting any gene of your interest. Polyclonal or monoclonal is optional based on customers’ research needs.
