4T1 mCherry Reporter Cell Line enables real-time tumor tracking, metastasis studies, and red fluorescent imaging in breast cancer research platforms.
The 4T1 mCherry Reporter Cell Line is a fluorescently labeled cell model derived from the murine 4T1 breast cancer cell line. The expression of the red fluorescent protein mCherry provides a detectable fluorescent signal for visualization and tracking of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo. The reporter cell line can support fluorescence-based studies of tumor growth, cell distribution, migration, and metastasis, providing a practical model for monitoring 4T1 tumor cells in experimental systems.

The 4T1 mCherry Reporter Cell Line can be used for fluorescence microscopy, live-cell imaging, tumor growth monitoring, tumor cell tracking, and metastasis research. mCherry-labeled 4T1 cells can be detected in experimental tumor models to monitor tumor distribution and progression over time. The model can also support studies of tumor cell migration, tumor microenvironment interactions, and therapeutic response. Published studies have used 4T1-mCherry models for in vivo fluorescence imaging and investigation of tumor progression and metastasis. For downstream molecular studies, mCherry-labeled tumor cells can also be isolated from experimental samples for subsequent RNA and gene expression analysis.
The 4T1 mCherry Reporter Cell Line supports research in breast cancer, tumor metastasis, tumor cell migration, tumor microenvironment, and preclinical cancer research. The fluorescent reporter facilitates identification and tracking of tumor cells within experimental models and can be combined with downstream molecular analyses to investigate changes associated with tumor progression and metastatic behavior. In studies where reporter-positive cells are isolated for molecular characterization, mCherry mRNA and other transcript-level signals may be examined as part of broader gene expression analyses.
Cell Recovery(Recover and expand the 4T1 mCherry reporter cells under recommended culture conditions.) → Cell Culture(Maintain the cells under appropriate culture conditions and monitor cell morphology and growth.) → mCherry Detection(Detect the mCherry fluorescent signal in reporter-positive tumor cells using compatible fluorescence imaging systems.) → Tumor Model Establishment(Use mCherry-labeled 4T1 cells in experimental tumor growth or metastasis models.) → Tumor Cell Tracking(Monitor the distribution and progression of labeled tumor cells over time.) → Cell Isolation(Isolate reporter-positive tumor cells from experimental samples when required for downstream analysis.) → Molecular Analysis(Perform RNA, gene expression, or other molecular analyses of isolated tumor cells.)
