Description

BALB/c Mouse Stomach Cells are a primary mixed cell population isolated from the stomach tissue of BALB/c mice. The stomach, a complex organ involved in digestion and mucosal immunity, contains diverse cell types, including gastric epithelial cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and resident immune cells. This product comprises viable, heterogeneous stomach cells collected via enzymatic digestion and mechanical dissociation of gastric tissue under sterile conditions. Cells are processed to maintain native cell-cell interactions and microenvironmental signaling pathways as much as possible. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • BALB/c Mouse Stomach Cells serve as a valuable in vitro model for studying gastrointestinal development, gastric epithelial biology, mucosal immunity, and host-pathogen interactions. These cells are particularly useful in modeling gastric injury and repair, Helicobacter pylori infection, inflammatory diseases such as gastritis, and gastric carcinogenesis. The cellular heterogeneity also supports organotypic culture approaches or reconstitution of gastric tissue in 3D systems.
