Description

BALB/c Mouse Vein Fibroblasts are isolated from the venous tissue of BALB/c mice. These cells originate from the connective tissue layer (tunica adventitia) of veins, where fibroblasts play a critical role in extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis and vascular remodeling. Morphologically, these fibroblasts exhibit a spindle-shaped, elongated form typical of mesenchymal cells. They express fibroblast-specific markers such as vimentin and fibronectin. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures and is tested to ensure it is free from contamination by Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • BALB/c Mouse Vein Fibroblasts serve as a vital model for studying vascular remodeling, vein fibrosis, and extracellular matrix dynamics in venous tissue. They are widely used to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying varicose vein formation, chronic venous insufficiency, and vascular injury repair. BALB/c Mouse Vein Fibroblasts are also applicable in drug screening for anti-fibrotic therapies, cell-matrix interaction studies, and co-culture systems with endothelial cells to explore vascular niche biology. Their role in inflammation and immune modulation within the venous wall can also be modeled using these cells.
