C57BL/6 Mouse Primary Ovarian Fibroblasts from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
C57BL/6 Mouse Ovarian Fibroblasts are derived from the ovarian connective tissue of C57BL/6 mice. In vitro, these cells display a spindle-shaped morphology, typical of fibroblasts, and express vimentin. These fibroblasts form a key component of the ovarian stromal environment and play important roles in maintaining tissue architecture, supporting follicular development, and responding to hormonal cues. They are also actively involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, intercellular communication, and tissue repair. C57BL/6 mouse ovarian fibroblasts are widely used in research related to ovarian fibrosis, stromal-epithelial interactions, reproductive aging, and ovarian disease mechanisms. In vitro, these cells exhibit limited proliferative capacity. To maintain their viability and physiological functions, repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided during the culture process. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

C57BL/6 Mouse Ovarian Fibroblasts can be used to investigate ovarian stromal biology, extracellular matrix remodeling, and the tumor microenvironment in ovarian diseases. These cells, known as C57BL/6 ovarian fibroblasts or Murine ovary stromal fibroblasts, are also utilized to study intercellular signaling between fibroblasts and epithelial or immune cells in normal physiology and ovarian cancer.
