Mouse kidney fibroblasts are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Kidney Fibroblasts are primary renal stromal cells isolated from pathogen-free CD-1 mouse kidney tissue using enzymatic digestion and mechanical dissociation to preserve viability and intrinsic function. These adherent fibroblasts exhibit typical spindle-shaped morphology. The cells are cultured following AcceGen’s recommended conditions. These fibroblasts provide a physiologically relevant and consistent model for kidney stromal biology, extracellular matrix studies, and fibrosis research. To ensure the quality of these primary cells, repeated freeze-thawcycles are not recommended due to the fragile nature of these cells. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Kidney Fibroblasts are ideal for studying renal fibrosis, wound healing, and extracellular matrix remodeling. They serve as a powerful tool for drug screening, molecular biology assays such as RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunofluorescent staining, and flow cytometry. Their robust growth and maintained phenotype make them excellent for exploring fibroblast-related signaling pathways and stromal-epithelial interactions in kidney disease models.
