Mouse Primary Cells from AcceGen are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice.
CD-1 Mouse Spleen Cells are primary cells isolated from the spleen tissue in CD-1 mice. These cells comprise a heterogeneous population, primarily including lymphocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, which play central roles in both innate and adaptive immunity. After isolation, cells are cryopreserved at low passage numbers to retain their physiological functions and cellular heterogeneity. These cells express lineage-specific markers such as CD3 (T cells), CD19 (B cells), and F4/80 (macrophages). CD-1 mice are genetically outbred and commonly used for immunological research due to their broad genetic diversity and robust immune responses within the CD-1 mouse immune system. Spleen-derived immune cells are pivotal in studying antigen processing, cytokine production, and host-pathogen interactions. These primary cells are non-transformed, do not proliferate in vitro, and should not be repeatedly freeze-thawed to maintain viability and function. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD-1 Mouse Spleen Cells serve as a reliable ex vivo model to investigate immune responses, particularly in infection, vaccination, and autoimmune disease studies. Their natural cell diversity allows for mechanistic exploration of lymphocyte activation, antigen presentation, and cytokine signaling pathways. They are widely used to evaluate T and B cell functionality in studies of systemic inflammation, immunotherapy development, and immunotoxicity.
