SLE CD4+ T Cells are available from AcceGen. All are listed on the certificate of analysis provided with each lot.
CD4+ T Cells-Lupus are human T lymphocytes isolated from individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Following the primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved. In SLE, CD4+ T cells play a pivotal role in driving autoimmune responses. While these cells normally coordinate immune activity, in lupus patients they become autoreactive, contributing to the production of autoantibodies and tissue damage. Specifically, lupus CD4+ T cells exhibit enhanced glycolytic and mitochondrial metabolism, supporting their chronic activation and inflammatory functions. In vitro, these cells display limited proliferation capacity, and repeated freezing and thawing during culture should be avoided. The cells should be cultured according to AcceGen’s recommended culture conditions. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

CD4+ T Cells from Lupus patients offer an in vitro model to study autoimmune dysregulation, T helper cell imbalance, and proinflammatory cytokine production in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). These cells are valuable for investigating Th1/Th17 polarization, T cell activation, and their role in tissue damage and disease progression. They are also suitable for screening immunomodulatory drugs targeting CD4+ T cells.
