Description

CD57 Mouse Lymphatic Fibroblasts are primary cells isolated from the lymphatic tissues of adult C57BL/6 mice. These fibroblasts are non-hematopoietic stromal cells that contribute to the structural framework of lymph nodes and are involved in the regulation of immune responses. The cells display a typical spindle-shaped morphology and exhibit adherent growth in vitro. Following isolation, the cells are cryopreserved at early passage to maintain their physiological characteristics. Lymphatic fibroblasts are known to interact with immune cells and regulate lymphoid tissue organization, inflammation, and tolerance. Studies have shown that these fibroblasts express markers such as VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 and play critical roles in antigen presentation and cytokine secretion during chronic inflammation and autoimmune responses. C57BL/6 Mouse Lymphatic Fibroblasts are non-transformed, and should not be repeatedly frozen and thawed to preserve cell viability and function. These cells have limited proliferative capacity and are not immortalized. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • CD57 Mouse Lymphatic Fibroblasts serve as an excellent in vitro platform to study stromal-immune crosstalk within lymphoid microenvironments, and can also provide complementary insights relevant to CD57 granule cell electrophysiology in neuroimmune contexts. They are especially useful for dissecting fibroblastic reticular cell (FRC) functions in regulating T-cell activation, lymph node architecture, and chronic inflammation. These cells have been employed in research focused on autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, as well as in tumor immunology, to understand how the stromal microenvironment affects immune surveillance and response to immunotherapy. These cells facilitate investigation of cytokine networks, extracellular matrix remodeling, and immune cell trafficking in health and disease.
