Neuroblastoma appeared in the left adrenal gland. GOTO cells cultured with serum-free medium for long period by serial subcultures.
GOTO.P3 (also known as GOTO/P3) is a human neuroblastoma cell line established from a tumor in the adrenal gland of a 13-month-old male patient following treatment, classified under adrenal neuroblastoma (N‑type). These cells exhibit characteristic fibroblast-like features and maintain stable adherent growth properties in standard in vitro culture environments. Molecular characterization reveals a recurrent somatic mutation in the NRAS oncogene. HOXC6 and HOXC11 homeobox transcription factors are upregulated during Schwannian differentiation induced in GOTO cells. This cell line exhibits high tumorigenic potential in experimental models. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

GOTO.P3 cell line serves as a valuable in vitro model for neuroblastoma biology research and drug screening applications. Specifically, it is utilized to investigate neuroblastoma differentiation mechanisms, molecular signaling pathways, and antitumor compound efficacy. This enables researchers to delineate molecular targets and evaluate therapeutic candidates for neuroblastoma, advancing translational oncology studies.
