Mouse Lung Mesenchymal Stem Cells are derived from the lung tissues of pathogen-free laboratory adult B129 mice.
HighQC™ B129 Mouse Lung Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are derived from the lung tissues of adult B129 mice. The cells exhibit a characteristic fibroblast-like, spindle-shaped morphology in standard culture conditions. During lung injury, the bioactive lipid lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) is released from numerous cells, which activates the LPAR1 receptor on lung-resident MSCs (LR-MSCs), causing the LR-MSCs to migrate and differentiate into fibroblasts. Their defined phenotype and involvement in fibrogenic signaling make them ideal for studying mesenchymal contributions to lung pathophysiology. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ B129 Mouse Lung Mesenchymal Stem Cells serve as an in vitro model to study pulmonary fibrosis pathogenesis and evaluate therapeutic agents for lung diseases. For example, analyzing their response to TGF-β-mediated activations helps clarify the molecular mechanisms driving extracellular matrix deposition in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. This enables drug screening of anti-fibrotic compounds and investigation of regenerative repair pathways, aiding development of targeted interventions for respiratory disorders.
