Induced Pluriopotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) SOD1 Mutation/ A4V
HighQC™ Human IPS Cells (SOD1 Mutation/A4V) are induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) derived from donor somatic cells. The cells exhibit typical pluripotent stem cell morphology, including high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratios, prominent nucleoli, and tightly packed colonies with defined edges. These cells are generated by transducing four transcription factors, Sox2, Oct4, Klf4, and c-Myc, into somatic cells. The SOD1 A4V mutation, a well-known pathogenic variant in familial ALS, is verified by sequencing and remains stable in culture. These cells can differentiate into three germ layers in vitro and in vivo. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human IPS Cells (SOD1 Mutation/ A4V) serve as a genetically accurate disease-relevant model for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) pathogenesis studies. They enable studies of motor neuron degeneration mechanisms, oxidative stress responses, and neuroinflammation pathways, and support drug screening initiatives and gene correction strategies targeting SOD1-related pathology. These cells are available as a SOD1 A4V mutation human iPSC, representing an ALS model SOD1 mutant iPSC and a well-characterized human iPSC line SOD1 A4V for disease-specific research and therapeutic development.
