Description

HighQC™ Human IPSC From PBMC-Crohn’s Disease is a disease-specific human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of a donor diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disorder (IBD). The reprogramming was performed using non-integrating episomal plasmid method. The resulting iPSCs exhibit adherent growth with a high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio. The Crohn’s Disease iPSCs preserve pluripotency for Crohn’s disease immune mechanism research. They retain the fundamental capacity for trilineage differentiation into cell types of all three germ layers (ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm). Core pluripotency SSEA-4 is expressed. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Application

  • HighQC™ Human IPSC From PBMC-Crohn’s Disease provides a patient-specific model for studying inflammatory bowel disease mechanisms. Its pluripotent capacity enables differentiation into intestinal epithelial cells and immune cell lineages, facilitating research on mucosal barrier dysfunction and immune dysregulation. This system supports the development of intestinal organoids for disease modeling, investigation of host-microbiome interactions, and serves as a platform for anti-inflammatory compound screening.
