Human (Parental) Melanoma Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human (Parental) Melanoma Cancer Stem Cells are tumor-initiating cells isolated from primary human melanoma tissues. These cells represent a rare population within the tumor that exhibits self-renewal, multipotency, and high tumorigenic potential. Morphologically, the cells are small to medium in size with a spindle-shaped or polygonal appearance. They express key melanoma stem cell markers such as CD133 and ALDH1. These human melanoma cancer stem cells possess the ability to differentiate into melanocytic and mesenchymal-like lineages under appropriate stimuli, contributing to intratumoral heterogeneity and therapeutic resistance. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human (Parental) Melanoma Cancer Stem Cells provide an in vitro model for investigating melanoma biology. These cells are widely applied in studies of tumor heterogeneity, signaling pathways associated with stemness, and mechanisms underlying therapeutic resistance. They are also suitable for screening and mechanistic evaluation of compounds targeting melanoma stem cell-associated pathways, as well as for research on melanoma cell interaction with immune-related factors in experimental systems.
