Human (Parental) Gall Bladderived Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human (Parental) Gall Bladder Cancer Stem Cells are a defined population of tumor-initiating cells isolated from human gall bladder carcinoma tissues. Morphologically, they exhibit compact cell morphology, commonly presenting as rounded to polygonal-shaped cells. They express key stemness and cancer-associated markers such as CD44 and CD133. These gallbladder cancer stem cells are characterized by stem cell-associated properties, including self-renewal capacity and the ability to maintain cellular hierarchy within cancer cell populations. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human (Parental) Gall Bladder Cancer Stem Cells, also referred to as Biliary tract tumor stem cells, serve as a powerful tool for advancing research in gallbladder cancer biology and therapeutic development. These cells can be used for studying tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. In drug discovery, they enable the screening of novel anticancer agents targeting cancer stem cell populations, which are often resistant to conventional chemotherapy.
