Human (Parental) Osteosarcoma Cancer Stem Cell; Frozen Vial and Plated cells are available.
HighQC™ Human (Parental) Osteosarcoma Cancer Stem Cells are a rare population of tumorigenic cells isolated from primary human osteosarcoma tissue. Morphologically, the cells exhibit small, irregular shapes with a high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratio. These cells represent osteosarcoma cancer stem cells (CSCs) with defining traits such as long-term self-renewal and the ability to initiate tumors in vivo. They express elevated levels of CSC and cancer stemness markers, including CD133 and CD117. They possess multilineage differentiation potential, especially toward osteogenic and chondrogenic lineages under appropriate stimuli. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human (Parental) Osteosarcoma Cancer Stem Cells, also known as human bone cancer tumor-initiating cells, serve as a valuable model for studying osteosarcoma biology, drug resistance, and metastasis. Due to their stem-like properties and tumor-initiating capacity, these cells are widely used in cancer stem cell research to investigate mechanisms of self-renewal, differentiation, and therapeutic resistance.
