Heritable Diseases Disorders of the Nervous System
HighQC™ Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells, From Rett Syndrome, are generated using a non-integrating Sendai virus vector system to deliver a defined set of reprogramming transcription factors, typically including OCT4, SOX2, KLF4, and c-MYC. These cells display typical pluripotent stem cell characteristics, including a high nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio and prominent nucleoli. The donor carries a frameshift mutation (1155del32) in the MECP2 gene, characteristic of Rett Syndrome. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells, From Rett Syndrome, including Rett syndrome iPSC line and RTT patient-derived human iPSCs, offer valuable insights into the disease mechanisms and potential therapies. These cells maintain the genetic characteristics of Rett Syndrome, and can differentiate into various cell types. They serve as an effective platform for disease modeling. These iPSCs can also be used for drug screening, gene therapy development, and personalized medicine, enabling evaluation of potential treatments and gene-editing strategies tailored to individual patients.
