Description

HighQC™ Mouse Embryonic Hematopoietic Stem Cells (mHSCs) are isolated from the mouse embryos, the earliest anatomical site of definitive hematopoiesis. Morphologically, mHSCs are non-adherent or loosely adherent and exhibit small clusters when cultured in defined stem cell medium with stem cell factor (SCF) support. Phenotypically, they express CD34 during their emergence from the AGM region. Functionally, these embryonic HSCs demonstrate robust self-renewal potential and multilineage repopulation capacity when transplanted into irradiated recipients. As early definitive HSCs, they offer a unique model to study the initial stages of hematopoietic ontogeny. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from mycoplasma, fungi, yeast, and bacteria.
