HighQC™ Human Pre-Adipocyte Cells provide a high-quality model for adipogenesis research, enabling studies on obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disease.
HighQC™ Human Pre-Adipocyte Cells are adipocyte progenitor cells isolated from human adipose tissue of a non-diseased donor. These cells are derived from de-differentiated mature adipocytes through ceiling culture. In vitro, human pre-adipocytes exhibit a finite proliferative capacity and can be expanded for limited passages under optimized culture conditions while retaining adipogenic competence. Morphologically, they display a fibroblast-like, spindle-shaped appearance. These cells express classic pre-adipocyte surface markers and consistently test positive for CD29, CD44, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD166. Functionally, they possess a robust and lineage-restricted capacity for adipogenic differentiation, giving rise to mature adipocytes characterized by intracellular lipid droplet accumulation. Under differentiation conditions, the cells show positive lipid droplet formation in the cytoplasm and are positively stained by Oil Red O. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HighQC™ Human Pre-Adipocyte Cells, also known as Human pre-adipocytes, Primary human adipose-derived precursor cells, and Human white fat progenitor cells, provide a robust in vitro research model for investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying adipogenesis and adipose tissue development. These cells are widely used to study the transcriptional and signaling pathways that regulate adipocyte lineage commitment, differentiation, and lipid metabolism. Upon adipogenic induction, they enable detailed analysis of lipid droplet formation, adipokine expression, and insulin-responsive signaling, supporting research into metabolic regulation and energy homeostasis.
