SACK-Xs Lig-13 Clonal Adult Rat Cholangiocytic Stem Cells
HighQC™ SACK-Xs Lig-13 Clonal Adult Rat Cholangiocytic Stem Cells are clonally derived adult stem cells isolated from normal biliary epithelial tissue of healthy rats. Under defined culture conditions, SACK-Xs Lig-13 cells can be propagated long-term in xanthosine (Xs)-supplemented medium, enabling sustained expansion of the stem cell population while maintaining stable stem cell characteristics. Morphologically, they display a small, epithelial-like phenotype and form tubules with polarized cells (e.g., luminal microvilli). These cells express albumin and CK7. Functionally, SACK-Xs Lig-13 cells possess robust self-renewal capacity and multilineage differentiation potential toward cholangiocytic and hepatocyte-like lineages under appropriate conditions. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
