HMVEC-d Ad-Dermal MV Endothelial Cells are suitable for microcirculation research, angiogenesis modeling, and dermal vascular inflammation studies.
HMVEC-d Ad-Dermal MV Endothelial Cells are a population of endothelial cells isolated from the microvessels of normal skin tissues. Morphologically, these HMVEC cells exhibit typical adherent growth characteristics, presenting a spindle-shaped or elongated polygonal shape. When arranged in a single layer, they form a tightly connected cobblestone-like structure, which aligns with the common features of microvascular endothelial cells. Functionally, these cells are involved in the regulation of skin microcirculation, including the maintenance of vascular permeability, leukocyte migration, and inflammatory responses (such as the upregulation of adhesion molecules induced by TNF-α). In the skin microenvironment, they interact closely with pericytes, keratinocytes, and fibroblasts to support vascular stability and contribute to overall skin barrier function. Each lot undergoes rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and is rigorously tested to ensure it is free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

HMVEC-d Ad-Dermal MV Endothelial Cells can be utilized to investigate dermal microvascular functions and inflammatory responses in vitro. They also serve as a crucial cell source for constructing artificial skin. When co-cultured with fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and other relevant cells, they can form skin substitutes with intact structure and barrier function. Additionally, these cells can be employed to study cellular responses to chemical or inflammatory stimuli and to assess potential effects on dermal microvessel integrity and function, providing robust support for mechanistic research in skin biology and tissue engineering.
