Description

HT-1376 is a human urothelial carcinoma cell line originally established from a grade 3 transitional carcinoma of the urinary bladder in a 58-year-old Caucasian female patient. It displays an epithelial-like morphology and grows as adherent monolayers in standard culture conditions. HT-1376 cell line harbors characteristic genomic alterations such as TERT promoter C228T, TP53 p.Pro250Leu, and RB1 p.Gln702Ter, which reflect its malignant background and relevance to urothelial carcinoma progression. HT-1376 cells exhibit structural microvilli and tonofibrils indicative of epithelial differentiation and grow in soft agar, demonstrating anchorage-independent growth and tumorigenicity in immunocompromised rodents. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.
