Human Fetal Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (BM-MNCs) are a heterogeneous cell population isolated from fetal bone marrow by density gradient centrifugation. The mononuclear fraction primarily contains lymphocytes and monocytes and may include a small proportion of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), while red blood cells and granulocytes are largely depleted. Morphologically, these cells show heterogeneous appearances due to their mixed cellular composition. In general, they include small round lymphocyte-like cells with scant cytoplasm and larger monocyte-lineage cells with more abundant cytoplasm. Their functions include hematopoietic reconstruction, immune regulation, and tissue repair. Consistent with bone marrow fetal mononuclear isolation principles, this population retains developmental-stage hematopoietic subsets and exhibits fetal cell markers that reflect the fetal bone marrow hematopoietic microenvironment. The cells undergo rigorous screening and isolation procedures, and are rigorously tested to ensure they are free of contamination from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, Syphilis, Mycoplasma, Fungi, Yeast, and Bacteria.

Human Fetal Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells provide a valuable model for studying fetal hematopoietic development and immune cell differentiation, helping to elucidate hematopoietic and immune regulation during early life. Additionally, they can be utilized as a drug screening platform to evaluate the effects of novel drugs on fetal hematopoietic and immune-related cells.
